Dr. Paul’s Lab

After almost four decades as a large-animal veterinarian in Arcadia, Wisconsin, Dr. Paul Dettloff, D.V.M. began teaching farmers how to move from the high-tech methods of the modern dairy farm toward a more holistic, sustainable practice that values the lives of the animals as well as the humans who consume their products. In his book, Alternative Treatments for Ruminant Animals, Dr. Dettloff comprehensively describes the various biological systems in ruminants and how to address issues of health and illness on the farm. In language that the layman can understand, Dr. Dettloff provides farmers and veterinarians alike with methods and treatments that are practical, acceptable by organic operations, and have been proven to work. Dr. Dettloff began manufacturing his own line of Dr. Paul’s products, in Dr. Paul’s Lab, to provide farmers with the products that he has described in his book.
